Amina and Ahzam’s Wedding at Salomons
This year the Salomons Estate in Tunbridge Wells hosted what for me must have been one of the most magical weddings of the year and this is purely because Amina and Ahzam aka the bride and groom are some of the most laid back and fun loving people I ever worked with. There were laughs, there were the groom’s men dressed as princesses and then there was the bride looking like a Disney princess. All this, together with a mansion full of guests determined to have a fun day made this wedding a truly magical one.
The day started with the bride and the her bridesmaids anxiously getting ready at the Bothy a stylish and cosy cottage in Fordcombe, Kent just outside Tunbridge Wells. You have to love this stage of the day especially as the ladies were in fantastic humours even though they were rushing a bit to make it in time for the wedding. Soon the hair and make up were done and the bride ready and looking absolutely gorgeous we headed off to Salomons.
The venue greeted us with with glorious views and even better weather and whilst the latter can be a bit of hit and miss the tranquil English countryside surrounding Salomons never disappoints. The ceremony and later the reception was held in the grand Victorian Theatre but we did make use of the picturesque terrace with its stunning vistas too.
The couple opted for a mixture of reportage photography and traditional group and family photographs and I must admit that I haven’t had so much fun photographing groups in a while. Why? Well see for yourselves, you will find a rather extensive story of Amina and Ahzam’s day below.
